Responsibilities

As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will face the following tasks:

  • Contribute to a full product development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with both national and international regulations, from design to implementation
  • Analyzing problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to create innovative product designs
  • Contribute with skid design and utilize your knowledge of sensor technology
  • Creating plans and designs using technology such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD P&ID and/or Inventor
  • Produce technical and evaluation documentation
  • Collaborating with project managers and other engineers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or other relevant fields)
  • 5 + years mechanical engineering experience; preferably in the design of engineering process systems for energy technology industries
  • Experience in modern work methods and digital tools, supporting and making daily work efficient and high quality
  • Experience in one or more of disciplines
    • Process
    • Piping
    • Gas/Energy engineering
  • Applied knowledge and a thorough understanding of best practices
  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail

  • You should be self-motivated and possess skills with, an initiative to deliver high quality
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Genuine interest in the field of processes and/or chemical processes
  • Commitment and ability to achieve goals
  • You should be able to communicate in both English and Norwegian, written and vocally
