| R2Gas Workshop: Biomethane – The most evident renewable fuel today |

| No doubt, the production of biomethane is impressively increasing and has reached 4.2 bcm in Europe by the end of 2022. According to the target of the “Fitfor55” program, the production should reach 35bcm by 2030. However, there are still a few hurdles to overcome. Since the shock in 2021/22 the natural gas prices have come down and are again below the costs of biomethane production. Stakeholders are challenged to optimize the investment and operational costs and utilize all possibilities for monetizing the green value of the product. |
| During the Workshop of R2Gas experienced executives from leading project developers, renewable gas grid operators, registries, the EC and research institutions will discuss the status of biogas upgrading as well as the market opportunities of all renewable gases. |

| As Non-Profit organization R2Gas is covering all the required personnel effort from own funds. Full catering is included in the participation fee (welcome coffee, coffee breaks with snacks, lunch, snacks at the coe together session). The participation fee is payable by means of bank transfer performed by 21st April against the invoice issued by R2Gas upon registration. No registration and no payment will be possible on the spot. |
