Australian Renewable Fuels Week 2024

We're thrilled to be bringing Australian Renewable Fuels Week to Canberra from 18 to 22 March, 2024.

Following an overwhelmingly successful inaugural event in 2023, Australian Renewable Fuels Week will be bigger and better as we showcase ways to accelerate decarbonisation of Australia’s hard to abate sectors.

The week will celebrate another year of exciting developments in Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Renewable Liquid Fuels and Renewable Gas, as well as our Renewable Fuels Meets Parliament campaign, that has seen us engage extensively with Members of Parliament and their advisors as we continue work to progress the bioeconomy in Australia.

We will bring together industry leaders, developers, and decision makers to demonstrate that bioenergy is critical in Australia’s energy transition, with a two-day conference on March 19 and 20 at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.

  • March 19 will focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Renewable Liquid Fuels, and how these are essential for decarbonisation of industries including Aviation, Marine, Construction, Agriculture, Heavy Road Transport, Rail and Mining.
  • March 20 will focus on Renewable Gas and the imperative need for domestic deployment to support industries reliant on gas for heat and manufacturing including food processing, manufacturing of building materials, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing as well as the immediate opportunity in supporting decarbonisation of the wider gas network.
