Description

- Afterres2050 Anaerobic digestion -
Supporting ruminant breeding areas in transition

The example of the Fermes de Figeac in the Lot

Thursday , June 8, 2023 -
from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

in videoconference

The development of anaerobic digestion presents many opportunities for farms and territories. As a producer of renewable energies and agro-ecological practices, its contribution to transitions is growing as studies report their results and the first feedback is shared. Whether in arable or livestock farming areas, methanation development models must be adapted to the diversity of contexts.

Faced with the decline in livestock farming already at work, how can the transitions of these systems be supported, what role can anaerobic digestion play, what effects are generated by its implementation and what concrete translation on a territory?

This webinar will address issues relating to the development of anaerobic digestion in farming areas. A second webinar will be organized on arable crop areas.
