Job Description

The Service Manager Biogas and Biomethane plants will be responsible for the commercial and execution part of Service projects for the Renewable Gas (RG) markets in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Identify retrofit / upgrade / maintenance opportunities by developing and maintaining close contacts with existing and potential Customers
• Elaborate costs estimations and offers for Service projects in collaboration with teams in Zurich and other Company locations
• Act as Project Manager for the execution phase of your projects
• Set up Team for RG Service in Italy with support of existing Business Line
• Support and facilitate the development of medium size Service projects
• Travel up to 50% mainly in Italy, occasionally to Switzerland and other locations in Europe

Job Qualifications

• Trained engineer with 5+ years’ experience as Project Manager, Construction or Commissioning Manager or as technical sales manager, preferably in the Renewable Gas sector
• Good experience with repairs / retrofitting / upgrading works, spare parts management, and/or plant overhaul activities, from tendering to execution
• Sound communication and negotiation skills; pragmatic solution-oriented mindset, and team player within a remote team
• Proactive, autonomous, and entrepreneurial personality
• Italian mother tongue, fluent in English; French or any other language would be a plus
